Jeremy Spicer
Jeremy Spicer, the Associate Director of Bands at Cedar Park High School, is the Conductor of the Symphonic Band and the Director of both the Marching and Jazz Ensembles. During his tenure at Cedar Park he has led the Timberwolf Marching band to much success. Such honors include being recognized as a consistent top 10 finalist at every Bands of America event attended and numerous invitational championships (Westlake Marching Festival, Carrollton Tournament of Champions, and Duncanville Marching Invitational). In 2004 the band was recognized with the Silver Medal at the 5A-State Marching Band Contest. Under his direction, the Symphonic band has been a consistent sweepstakes recipient.
Jeremy has been very active in DCI. He began his drum corps career playing mellophone in the Santa Clara Vanguard. Since his age out year, Mr. Spicer has been a member of the brass staffs of the Santa Clara Vanguard, Boston Crusaders, Southwind, and the Carolina Crown, where he has served in various capacities ranging from Brass Instructor to Assistant Brass Caption Head.
Mr. Spicer is active in the United States as a clinician and adjudicator. Since 2001 Jeremy has been instrumental in delivering SASI’s empowerment seminars across the state of Texas and is responsible for development of the SASI Marching Curriculum. His professional affiliations include Texas Music Educators Association, Texas Bandmasters Association, and Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia. He lives in Leander with his beautiful wife Elizabeth, and their new baby girl, Coral.
