Wes Booker is an educator, conductor, and leadership mentor from Coppell, Texas, with a passion for developing students through music and meaningful relationships. Wes recently graduated with a degree in Music Education from The University of Texas and was hired as the new Assistant Band Director at Cedar Park High School.

Alongside his teaching experiences, he has worked with organizations including Silent Command, Vandegrift High School, and Liberty Hill High School, where he has mentored student leaders and helped cultivate positive, high-performing team cultures. During his summers, Wes served as the Head Drum Major of the Boston Crusaders Drum and Bugle Corps from 2023-2025 and the Assistant Drum Major of The Cadets Drum and Bugle Corps in 2022. Growing up in a strong culture of musical excellence and student leadership inspired his commitment to mentorship, teamwork, and servant leadership.

This summer, Wes is excited to serve as an intern with SASI Leadership and continue learning alongside educators and student leaders from across the country. Through every opportunity, he strives to lead with humility, energy, and genuine care for others.
