Samantha DiMatteo

Samantha DiMatteo is a dedicated music educator originally from Old Bridge, New Jersey. She earned her Bachelor of Music Education from West Chester University of Pennsylvania, where she performed in the university’s wind ensemble as a member of the euphonium section. During her summers, she marched baritone with The Cadets Drum and Bugle Corps, completing three seasons before transitioning into instructional roles.

Following graduation, Ms. DiMatteo moved to Texas, where she began her teaching career at Bernard Harris Middle School and later served as the Associate Director of Bands at Seguin High School. During her tenure, the marching band consistently earned UIL First Division ratings and advanced to the area level, while her concert ensembles achieved five consecutive sweepstakes awards.

Ms. DiMatteo remains actively involved in drum corps, contributing to several nationally recognized programs. Her experience includes teaching with The Oregon Crusaders, The Academy Drum and Bugle Corps, and working with the world champion Boston Crusaders. She has also presented at the Texas Music Educators Association convention and is an active member of the Texas Music Adjudicators Association.

Currently, Ms. DiMatteo serves as an Associate Band Director with the UIL State Champion Cedar Park High School band, where she continues to foster a student centered culture in music education and performance.
