Jason Jones is currently in his 26th year of teaching and serving in his 1st year as Director of Bands at Brownwood High School in Brownwood, TX. Prior to teaching in Brownwood, he has taught in San Angelo, Burnet, Early, Panhandle and Pampa. Throughout his career, his bands have been consistent UIL sweepstakes winners, state level qualifiers in TMEA Honor Band and ATSSB OPS competitions, and made multiple appearances at the UIL State Marching Contest.

Jason is originally from Pampa, TX. He graduated with a Bachelor's degree from Howard Payne University in 1999 and a Master’s degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2021. Jason and his wife Amber, who teaches elementary music, have been married since 2000 and have three children: Emileigh (21), currently an elementary education major; Adyson (19), a finance major at the University of Texas and member of the Longhorn Band; and Ian (17), a junior tuba player.
