Kevin Thompson is an Assistant Director of Bands at Paetow High School in the Katy Independent School District. Originally from Westlake Village California, he moved to Texas and received his Bachelors in Music Education from the University of North Texas.

During his summers, Mr. Thompson has the privilege to serve on the instructional staff for the SASi Drum Major and Leadership camps, working with hundreds of Drum Majors and Student Leaders across Texas and the country. Mr. Thompson’s professional affiliations include Texas Music Educators Association, Texas Bandmasters Association, North American Saxophone Alliance, and Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia.
